Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA solutions, owning the workstream across receivables, payments, and reconciliation. You will guide functional design, testing, and deployment while coordinating with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care teams to ensure alignment with business policies and accounting requirements.

Qualifications

• To qualify, a bachelor's degree is required.
• Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA, including 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing and stabilization.
• Experience designing FI-CA solutions across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading finance workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and design governance.
• Experience governing cross-functional integrations across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, financial systems, banking, and FI/CO GL.
• Experience overseeing testing and readiness for high-volume FI-CA processing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing dependencies and risks.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, including scope, processes, decisions and delivery from requirements to post-go-live.
• Defining functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs and controls.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, design reviews translating requirements into FI-CA solutions.
• Driving integration design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, banks and payment providers, tax solutions, and FI/CO GL.
• Establishing FI-CA financial controls and reconciliation processes for auditability.
• Coordinating cross-workstream dependencies to align end-to-end utility processes.
• Developing functional specifications, solution docs, configuration standards and design decisions.
• Leading FI-CA functional consultants and coordinating with technical partners.
• Overseeing end-to-end testing and defect resolution for payments, postings and reconciliations.
• Managing scope, estimates, risks, and escalations; communicating options to leadership.
• Leading cutover and production readiness activities and post-go-live stabilization.
