Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA solutions for utilities. You will own the FI-CA workstream, align receivables and payments with policy and accounting requirements, and collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, Customer Care, and technical teams to ensure quality and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience designing and delivering FI-CA solutions across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, financial integration, and reconciliation.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, including scope, target processes, solution decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes from requirements and blueprint through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Defining and governing the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and related financial controls.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews to translate requirements into scalable FI-CA solutions.
• Driving integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banks and payment providers, collection agencies, tax solutions, and SAP FI/CO General Ledger.
• Establishing FI-CA financial controls, posting and reconciliation processes, ensuring auditability and compliance with business requirements.
• Managing cross-workstream dependencies to ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
• Developing functional specifications, solution documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions for FI-CA workstream.
• Leading FI-CA functional consultants and coordinating with technical/ integration partners.
