Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions. You will own the workstream, define functional approaches, align processes with meter reading, field operations and operational controls, and drive solution quality across SAP IS-U integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years in SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities with hands-on Device/Work Management, meter reading or field processes.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery through implementation and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, and mobile workforce solutions.
• Experience leading requirements, fit-gap analysis, workshops, design, testing, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops and design reviews.
• Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance and mobile workforce solutions.
• Oversee device and field-work processes, exception handling, and operational handoffs.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies with Billing, Customer Service, Data Conversion and other workstreams.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration standards and design decisions for consistency and quality.
• Coach functional consultants and coordinate vendor teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead cutover, training, production readiness, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
