Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions. You will own the Billing workstream, translate regulatory and market requirements into scalable designs, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to drive solution quality and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on Billing and Invoicing
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solution design and delivery
• Experience with time-of-use and interval-based billing and EDM
• Experience integrating Billing with related SAP IS-U capabilities (Device Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, bill print)
• Experience leading requirements gathering, solution workshops, design, testing, cutover, and operational readiness
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and risks, and driving decisions with stakeholders
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills
• Willingness to travel 40–60%

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through deployment and stabilization
• Define target functional design for Billing and Invoicing including rates, tariffs, schemas, and high-volume processing
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities
• Lead design and delivery of complex billing scenarios (time-of-use, interval-based, rebilling, invoicing)
• Develop functional specs, documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions
• Coach functional team members and ensure clear ownership and issue resolution
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, billing cycles, and downstream impacts
• Manage scope, estimates, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder decisions with clear communication
• Lead cutover planning, training, and post-go-live stabilization
• Build trusted client relationships and provide functional guidance on IS-U capabilities
