Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of FI-CA solutions for utilities clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream, align with business policies, and coordinate Finance, Revenue Operations, and IT stakeholders to ensure quality, controls, and seamless integration across SAP IS-U.

In this role, you will drive workshops, govern design, and lead cross-functional teams through requirements, testing, and cutover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience delivering FI-CA across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading Finance and business workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience governing cross-functional integrations across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, financial systems, banking and FI/CO General Ledger.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, including scope, target processes, solution decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes from requirements and blueprint through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and related financial controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews to translate requirements into scalable FI-CA designs.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking and payment providers, collection agencies, tax solutions, and SAP FI/CO General Ledger.
• Establish FI-CA financial controls, posting and reconciliation processes to support auditability and compliance.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies to ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
• Develop and oversee functional specifications, solution documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions.
• Lead FI-CA functional consultants, coordinate technical partners, and drive issue resolution.
• Oversee end-to-end testing and defect resolution for FI-CA processing, including posting and reconciliation.
• Manage scope, estimates, risks, and communications to program leadership.
• Lead cutover and production readiness activities and post-go-live stabilization.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide guidance on FI-CA capabilities and transformation priorities.
