Job summary

EY seeks a Manager in Data Management and Strategy to transform data into a strategic asset for clients. You’ll lead workstreams, ensure timely delivery, and engage daily with clients to identify new services and manage engagement economics.

You will guide cross-functional teams, apply governance frameworks across SAP and non-SAP landscapes, and travel 40–60% to meet client needs as part of our hybrid, client-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years relevant experience with one or more SAP modules including full-cycle implementations.
• Specialized experience across SAP data disciplines: Data Migration, Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Analytics, and related data management capabilities across SAP landscapes.
• Strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA data model, including key simplification impacts and hands-on migration experience from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations and technical documentation.
• Proven experience leading SAP data projects or workstreams and managing project-based teams.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40‑60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop data solutions and govern policies affecting immediate work areas.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Lead workstreams and manage project status and deliverables with effective risk management.
• Engage with clients daily, identify opportunities for additional services, and guide teams.
