Job summary

Fortrex Nebraska seeks an Assistant Site Manager in Sanitation to support daily supervision of the sanitation crew, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards while coordinating with the Site Manager.

You will help implement training, report issues, liaise with customers, attend audits, and support safety programs as part of a nationwide food-safety company with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of related sanitation experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• General working knowledge of computers and technology.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the sanitation crew under the Site Manager on a daily basis.
• Report accidents, downtime, damage, and plant issues to the Site Manager and corporate office.
• Assist in coordinating training programs including safety training and ERP systems.
• Liaise with customers and attend sanitation meetings (production, USDA, audits, etc.).
• Monitor safety audits and enforce safe working practices across the team.
• Assist with workforce planning, hiring, coaching, and evaluating sanitation staff.
