Job summary

Fortrex is seeking an Assistant Site Manager in Sanitation to support the Site Manager in daily operations and sanitation crew supervision at an on-site facility. You will help monitor performance, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with the corporate office on logs, payroll, and orders.

The role requires maturity, strong communication, and a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. You will work closely with human resources and technical services, lead by example, and participate

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
6 months to 1 year of related sanitation experience.
Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
Ability to fluently speak, read, and write Spanish and English.
General working knowledge of computers and technology.

Responsibilities

Supervise sanitation crew and support Site Manager in daily operations.
Report accidents, downtime, and plant issues to Site Manager and corporate office.
Coordinate with customers and attend sanitation meetings as needed.
Conduct internal safety audits and enforce safe work practices.
Develop and monitor goals for the sanitation crew and ensure on-time, clean performance.
Assist in training programs including safety training and ERP.
