Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead sanitation operations across facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and high cleanliness standards. You will oversee sanitation staff, allocate tasks, and collaborate with site leadership to implement training programs and improved procedures.

The role requires leadership and sanitation experience, alongside strong computer skills and the ability to work in varying temperatures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6+ months of sanitation experience.
• Leadership and decision-making skills are required.
• General working knowledge of computers and technology including Microsoft Office
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment ("PPE").
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage sanitors for specific areas/departments.
• Direct daily work of sanitation staff; provide guidance during peak times without performing manual labor.
• Assign work to sanitation leads and staff.
• Ensure sanitation staff work safely, efficiently and in compliance with policies.
• Evaluate staff for promotions or changes in status.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures and training programs; report accidents.
• Assist Site Manager with training and ERP initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
