Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing America seeks a detail-oriented Sample Control Technician I for our Jackson, MS lab. You will log and track the receipt and shipment of samples, prepare bottle kits, verify chain of custody, and route specimens to the correct laboratories for analysis.

You may assist with courier duties, maintain inventory and documentation, and ensure safe handling of samples. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with benefits including medical, life, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software applications.
• Ability to follow DOT and company procedures for sample handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and verify samples against chain of custody.
• Log samples into Lab Management System and assign lot numbers.
• Label and deliver samples to appropriate labs for analysis.
• Prepare bottle kits and ship to clients for collection.
• Dispose of spent samples and hazardous materials per SOP.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and monitor temp controls.
• Support courier duties and client interactions as needed.
