Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Greenville, NC is seeking a Sample Control Technician I to log and track receipt and shipment of samples, prepare bottle kits, and ensure accurate documentation. You will handle labeling, routing, storage, and compliance with EPA/DOT requirements while performing occasional courier duties and on-call sampling as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• TWIC and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of hire.
• May drive for long periods, up to 8 hours per day.
• Professional working proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads samples and verifies receipt per Chain of Custody.
• Logs samples into Lab Management System daily and distributes paperwork.
• Labels and delivers samples to appropriate labs.
• Prepares bottle kits for shipping per EPA/DOT procedures.
• Disposes of spent samples and hazardous waste per procedures.
• Monitors freezer/cooler temperatures daily and maintains SOP compliance.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment; supports inventory.
• May perform courier duties and be on-call for sampling/delivery.
