Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Sample Control Technician I to manage receipt, tracking, labeling, and shipment of samples in a fast-paced lab environment. You will ensure Chain of Custody accuracy and maintain documentation for audits and client requests.

You will also assist with courier duties, manage cold-chain processes, and keep the facility organized and compliant with safety standards. This role requires driving as needed and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• TWIC/TSA clearance may be required within 90 days.
• May drive long distances, up to 8 hours/day.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload samples per DOT, verify against Chain of Custody.
• Log samples in Lab Management System daily and assign lot numbers.
• Label samples and deliver to labs for analysis.
• Prepare bottle kits and ship to clients per EPA/DOT procedures.
• Dispose of spent samples and hazardous waste per SOPs.
