Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT Certificate may be required for shipping hazardous chemicals within 90 days of date of hire.
• Valid state issued driver’s license to operate company vehicles
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle background check as required for company driver certification.
• TWIC card and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of date of hire.
• Additional client or location licenses or certifications may be required in order to support client and operational needs.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads incoming samples per DOT regulations and verifies against Chain of Custody.
• Logs samples into Lab Management System and assigns a job number.
• Labels samples and delivers to appropriate labs for analysis.
• Prepares bottle kits for shipping to clients and returns for analysis.
• Disposes of spent samples and hazardous materials per procedures.
• Maintains and monitors temperatures in freezers and coolers per SOPs.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment and supports daily operations.
• May perform courier duties and on-call sampling as needed.
