Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Jackson, TN seeks a Sample Control Technician I to manage receipt, tracking, and shipment of lab samples. You will verify Chain of Custody, log data, and prepare kits for client deliveries while ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling of materials.

You will also label, route, and ship samples for analysis, assist with compliant disposal, maintain inventory, and support occasional courier duties in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow DOT and chain of custody procedures.
• Proficient in basic computing and office software.
• Understand laboratory and testing procedures and safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload samples per DOT, verify against COC, resolve discrepancies.
• Log samples in Lab Management System and assign lot numbers.
• Label and route samples to appropriate labs for analysis daily.
• Prepare bottle kits and ensure EPA/DOT compliant shipping.
• Dispose of waste per procedures and maintain clean work area.
• Maintain freezer/cooler temps and inventory of supplies.
