Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Day Surgery Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) RN to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions during the shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care per policies, serving as a resource for staff while aligning with the organization’s mission and values to support outcomes.

Qualificações

• RN license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within 30 days of the start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of nursing care quality in collaboration with management.
• Collaborates with managers to create a teamwork-focused environment that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies such as hourly rounds andemployee rounding to improve engagement.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and supports actions to ensure staff development and performance.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
