Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, seeks a Day Surgery Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) RN to lead nursing care and coordinate unit activities during the shift, ensuring patient-centered care and alignment with our patient-focused values.

You will mentor staff, manage scheduling and resources, and collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes and service quality. Required RN licensure and ACLS/BLS/PALS within 30 days, plus an associate degree or RN diploma.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 30 days of start date.
• RN license required.
• Associate degree or RN diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Oversees staff scheduling and labor management to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; implements courses of action including training and performance evaluations.
• Assists with inventory control and managing supplies and equipment.
