BDO USA is seeking a Tax Managing Director for State and Local Taxation in New York, responsible for delivering tax advice, leading engagements, and expanding SALT services. You will market services, maintain client relationships, and guide complex tax projects with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires extensive SALT experience, leadership, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional tax initiatives within a major firm.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation or JD preferred.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Research tax topics and prepare studies with alternatives.
• Provide tax compliance guidance and manage engagements.
• Handle inquiries from federal and state agencies.
• Represent clients on contested tax issues and develop SALT services.
• Develop SALT strategy and lead client and industry initiatives.
