BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a Tax Manager, State and Local Tax to advise clients on SALT implications and compliance. The role collaborates with Core Tax Partners and senior leaders to provide SALT expertise and drive client success.

The position emphasizes marketing, networking, and business development within the practice area, along with supervising SALT professionals and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in business preferred.
• Master’s degree in Accounting/Taxation or J.D. preferred.
• CPA certification or other relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on SALT issues and compliance strategies.
• Draft tax memorandums, opinions and related SALT documentation.
• Lead engagements and manage client expectations across engagements.
• Represent clients before tax authorities when needed.
