Job summary

PENZONE Salon + Spa is seeking a Salon Lead + Manager on Duty (MOD) to help keep the salon running smoothly and to deliver an elevated experience for guests and team members. This full-time role includes opening and closing shifts and stepping into a leadership position during busy times.

You will coach and support the team, manage scheduling and changes, address guest questions, and model PENZONE standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Willing to travel across Columbus-area PENZONE locations.
• Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during opening and closing shifts.
• Set a positive, welcoming and productive salon environment.
• Support scheduling and appointment changes and call-offs.
• Address guest questions and concerns with timely solutions.
• Provide an extraordinary guest experience while modeling PENZONE standards.
• Complete daily opening and closing responsibilities.
• Assist with cash drawers, petty cash and deposits.
• Travel between Columbus-area PENZONE locations as needed.
• Attend company meetings as needed.
• Support additional salon needs and projects as assigned.
