PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) is responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services and training to developing stylists while supporting a high-performing team. The role focuses on pet care, service excellence, and salon operations within a store environment.

The position emphasizes developing associates through certification processes, maintaining safety standards, and driving customer engagement and salon revenue.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience.
• Full-time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with grooming tools, equipment and products.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead grooming services end-to-end including baths, brushing, nails and related procedures.
• Support development of bathers and stylists through the grooming training program.
• Identify and mentor new talent for stylist roles.
• Ensure salon and store standards, cleanliness, and safety.
• Promote salon services and merchandise to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leadership to address associate concerns and opportunities.
