You will oversee the development of bathers and stylists, ensuring adherence to grooming standards and safety. This opportunity emphasizes leadership, hands-on grooming, and driving salon sales while aligning with PetSmart’s values.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience; may require a technical exam.
• Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with grooming tools, equipment, and products.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay organized and safe.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates associate experience and development through training, onboarding, mentoring, coaching.
• Develops Bathers/Stylists through certification and academy training.
• Identify internal candidates for stylist academy.
• Delegate daily salon tasks and manage workflow.
• Address associate complaints and promote engagement.
• Lead pet parent interactions across phone, in-person, and online channels.
• Greet, assist, and recommend wellness solutions for pets.
• Drive salon sales and meet targets; maintain cleanliness and humane pet handling.
• Maintain salon tools, booking system, and logs; report facility or supply needs.
