Job summary

JCPenney Salon is seeking a Salon Customer Experience Specialist to create a welcoming, professional experience for guests. You will manage front desk operations, schedule appointments, and provide courteous service while promoting retail products that support guests' hair routines.

You will collaborate with stylists to reinforce recommendations, handle inquiries, and ensure smooth check-in/out and payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Proactively recommend retail products based on guest needs and promotions.
• Achieve or exceed retail sales goals; contribute to salon targets.
• Educate guests on product benefits and at-home care routines.
• Partner with stylists to reinforce product recommendations at checkout.
• Support in-salon promotions, launches and limited-time offers.
• Support daily/weekly/monthly retail goals through guest education and upselling.
• Drive retail sales by aligning product recommendations with guest needs while using FindMore as appropriate.
• Encourage rebooking and promote JCPenney Rewards and credit card usage.
