Job summary

MetLife in the United States is seeking a Sales Technology Developer to join the Global Technology team. You will build, test, configure, and support Salesforce-based GB360 Sales capabilities, leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform APIs to deliver secure, maintainable solutions.

This early-career role collaborates with Product Owners and engineers, applies AI-assisted tooling responsibly, and participates in SAFe/Agile rituals while helping create scalable, data-driven sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in software development, Salesforce development, or related delivery work.
• Experience developing, testing, or supporting software, CRM, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, data model, and Salesforce APIs.
• Understanding of Salesforce security, profiles, permissions, and access controls.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery teams and release readiness concepts.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools and responsible usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and supporting Salesforce GB360 Sales capabilities using Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and configuration.
• Support Sales Cloud workflows, opportunity processes, and Book of Business views.
• Apply configuration-first thinking and minimize unnecessary customizations.
• Prepare user stories, estimates, technical notes, tests, and release materials.
• Assist with integrations to Data Hubs, Seismic, underwriting, and MetIQ.
• Use AI-assisted tools with human review and secure development practices.
• Participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies and peer reviews of Salesforce work.
• Develop and execute unit tests, support system/integration testing and UAT.
• Provide production support and address performance and security issues.
