Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn our products, policies, and procedures while performing basic sales and customer service activities. You will work under the close direction of the Regional Sales Manager with limited discretion and a touch of creativity.

The training program spans multiple regions to gain broad exposure; after completion (typically 12 to 24 months), relocation to Southeast facilities will be required, with initial placements in Granger, IN, Nampa, ID, Twin

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience
• Strong MS Office skills and comfort with sales tools
• Ability to travel with Account Managers and work across regions

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply business math to manufacturing processes.
• Enter orders accurately in systems.
• Develop knowledge of UFPI sales tools and systems.
• Prepare detailed reports for supervisors.
• Travel with Account Managers to assist in sales activities.
• Make sales calls to current and prospective clients.
