Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Sales Trainee who will learn company products, policies, and procedures while performing basic sales and customer service activities under close guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.

The role includes training across regions, hands-on exposure to sales processes, and eventual relocation after the program to one of the Southeast facilities. This is an on-site training track designed for career growth in sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to learn sales processes and customer service practices.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies business math to manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assists in production activities to gain understanding of operational procedures.
• Enters orders in systems accurately and efficiently.
• Develops knowledge of UFPI sales tools and processes.
• Develops strong relationships with customers through effective communication.
• Travels with Account Managers to learn industry terms and assist in sales activities.
• Provides timely responses to customer inquiries and resolves issues.
