Job summary

Olam Agri is seeking an experienced OTC derivatives Sales Trader to join its Risk Management Solutions team. This remote role in the USA sources new business, analyzes market trends, and collaborates with global teams to service institutional clients across agricultural markets.

You will design tailored hedging solutions, manage client relationships, support trade execution, and represent the business at industry events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in OTC derivatives risk management sales.
• USA region experience preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled OTC derivatives Sales Trader to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities, analysing market trends, and closely collaborating with global teams for a diverse range of agricultural products. You'll leverage your expertise to secure the best deals for Olam Agri, while building strong relationships with clients across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and sell agricultural OTC derivative solutions to clients.
• Develop client relationships and provide tailored hedging solutions.

New Business Development

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business management, economics, or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in risk management solutions (OTC derivatives) sales, preferably in the USA region.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering complex projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
