Job summary

The Dan Mensch GEICO Local Office is seeking a Sales Team Manager to lead a growing agency’s insurance sales team. You will mentor, coach, and develop a group of licensed professionals while remaining actively involved in new business production.

Competitive base salary with uncapped commissions and opportunities for advancement will reward leadership and sales success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance license.
• Life & Health Insurance License also preferred.
• Previous insurance sales experience with a strong record of success.
• Leadership, supervisory, or team management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of licensed insurance sales professionals.
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve production and close rates.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, training, and performance reviews.
• Lead by example through personal sales production and customer engagement.
• Work with prospective customers to provide quotes, recommend coverage, and close new business.
• Foster a positive, goal-oriented culture focused on teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure agency processes, compliance standards, and customer service expectations are consistently met.
• Help recruit, onboard, and develop future sales talent.
• Track team metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty Insurance license

Life & Health Insurance License also preferred

Previous insurance sales experience with a strong record of success.
