Job summary

GEICO Webster is seeking licensed insurance agents to join a busy local office with nationwide brand recognition. You will start with base pay and have opportunities to earn bonuses by meeting sales metrics while helping clients understand auto, home, and renter's coverage.

This role emphasizes a team approach, strong communication, and the ability to work with customers over the phone or in person, with a focus on growing the agency and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• P&C licensed or Personal Lines license is a bonus - Will train the right individual
• Prior success in a sales role
• 1+ years experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Be a team player to help grow the agency
• Make sales (licensed) of auto insurance and other personal lines of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer service
• Educate clients on auto, home and renter's insurance
• Service existing accounts and ensure customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information
• Identify cross-selling opportunities during calls
• Help protect customers by offering insurance and financial products that will meet their needs
• Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews and update coverage

• Up to 75% of your day may be on the phone, a high-energy personality and a love of working with people is a must
• A knack for remembering data and details
• Strong computer skills to learn and work within multiple quoting systems (must be able to type at least 40 wpm)
• Punctual with the ability to stay and work a quote to its completion
• Confident self - starter who works well independently
• Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication / interpersonal skills
