TEGNA Inc. is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales Organization and Sales Fulfilment team.

This role will assist with order entry, client scheduling, tracking audience delivery, and preparing presentations while ensuring accurate reporting and service excellence. The position emphasizes daily client interaction, strong customer service, and collaboration with Sales Management to meet deadlines and maintain standardized reporting.

Qualifications

• Administrative, computer and sales support experience.
• Daily interaction with agencies and station counterparts is required.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Daily interaction with agencies and station counterparts
• Order entry and maintenance of client schedules
• Regular tracking of client audience delivery
• Developing presentations and providing high level of customer service
• Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Provide overall support to the sales organization
• Ensure all orders follow standardized TEGNA coding for reporting
• Work with Sales Management to assure accuracy and deadlines
• Engage with TEGNA selling platforms (WideOrbit tools)
• Create campaign analyses for clearance trends and revenue reporting
• Collaborate on training opportunities for Sales Assistants
