The role involves analyzing market data, supporting account plans for large accounts, and creating presentations to share insights. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• 1-3 years in sales support, sales operations, or market analysis, preferably tech/manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
• Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and derive insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide actionable market and customer insights to address strategic questions.
• Analyze external and internal data using queries, spreadsheets, and statistical tools.
• Gather information on competitive positioning of Lumentum’s offering.
• Support creation of account plans on large accounts.
• Assist Account and Sales managers with inquiries and follow-up.
• Create PowerPoint presentations to convey market insights.
• Conduct valid market research and SWOT analysis.
• Interpret data, generate reports, and make recommendations.
• Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry sources.
• Assess potential risks for business opportunities.
