NEFCO Corp. in East Hartford, CT, seeks a Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to handle day-to-day customer issues including returns, missing product, missed deliveries, wrong material and sales errors.

You will build strong relationships with customers and employees, coordinate with drivers, and use NEFCO’s Eclipse ERP and MS Office to ensure timely resolutions. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with OT eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrate ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficient with NEFCO’s Eclipse ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality at work.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Degree preferred; industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years of work experience, preferably in construction supply sales.
• This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.

Aufgaben

• Establish strong working relationships with employees and customers to exceed service levels.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the complaint and determining a solution.
• Process customer adjustments – create paperwork for returns and process credits.
• Dispatch for driver; verify contact info and wrong addresses when issues arise.
• Contact drivers for Estimated Time of Arrival for customers.
• Handle Return Authorizations with Vendors.
• Access daily delivery manifests.
• Maintain the hot list; coordinate between departments.
• Make changes to redeliver for wrong addresses or reschedule deliveries.
• Manage missed deliveries and notify the branch for redelivery.
