Job summary

Nefco Corporation in East Hartford is seeking a Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to handle day-to-day customer issues such as returns, missing product, missed deliveries, wrong material and sales errors.

You will build strong relationships with employees and customers, resolve problems, process returns and credits, and coordinate with drivers and vendors to ensure customers receive timely service.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with employees and customers to exceed service levels.
• Clarify complaints, determine root cause, explain solution and follow up.
• Process customer adjustments—create paperwork for returns and credits.
• Dispatch for driver; obtain contact info and correct addresses.
• Contact drivers for estimated times of arrival for customers.
• Handle return authorizations with vendors.
• Access daily delivery manifests.
• Maintain hot list; communicate between departments.
• Make changes to redeliver for wrong addresses or reschedule deliveries.
• Manage missed deliveries—enter error report and inform the branch.
