Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a Sales Supervisor (full-time) to support the management team and oversee daily operations. You will lead a dynamic team, drive sales, and ensure top-tier customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will mentor staff, assist in training, handle store operations, and coordinate with management and corporate stakeholders. Flexibility to perform additional duties as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of retail experience, with a track record of customer service.
• Strong organizational skills to coordinate people, resources and tasks.
• Proven ability to build and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and motivate the team to reach sales targets and deliver great service.
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team.
• Ensure customer service initiatives address issues quickly and courteously.
• Act as liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team, management, and corporate stakeholders.
• Support store operations including floor moves, merchandising, cleaning, and stock returns.
• Be flexible and perform tasks outside of your defined role when needed.
