Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to engage customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right home improvement solutions. You’ll become a product expert, highlighting features, promotions, and financing options to close sales and build trust with customers.

You’ll work in diverse departments like Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, with opportunities to expand skills and contribute to store goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales metrics.
• Able to read, write and perform basic arithmetic; stand/sit for long periods.
• Lowe's licensure or registration support if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a department contact, estimate projects, schedule installers, process orders and follow up.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock and pricing.
• Support checkout, store communications, and training of associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
