Job summary

Lowe's in-store Sales Specialist position is essential for greeting customers, understanding project needs, and guiding them to the right home improvement solutions. You will become the product expert, communicating specifications, features, and promotions to close sales.

The role spans several departments based on store needs, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, with active engagement in service and support.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating product benefits.
• Serve as department contact for customers and vendors; estimate projects and schedule visits.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors to reorder stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Train associates and coach on development needs.
