Job summary

NYC Alliance in New York seeks a proactive Sales Assistant to support our Mass division, focusing on client relations, market preparation, and precise order processing.

You will collaborate with sales leaders, Buyers and internal partners to ensure showroom readiness, accurate sales workflows, and exceptional service in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with sales software is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of retail math and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with clients and Buying Assistants.
• Assist the sales team in preparing for meetings and creating presentation materials, such as decks and reports.
• Manage order processing by accurately preparing and entering sales orders.
• Conduct market research and assist with competitor analysis as necessary.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Coordinate market planning and logistics, including appointment scheduling and showroom setup.
• Track and manage samples, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes.
• Maintain the showroom for seasonal markets, ensuring samples are organized and displayed effectively
