Job summary

La‑Z‑Boy is hiring a sales associate to drive in-store sales, promote the Design program with the Designer, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will master selling processes, help customers with room designs, and leverage promotions to boost profitability.

Training starts at $18/hour for 2–6 weeks with no commissions; after training, average earnings range from $40,000 to $60,000+ annually, including base, bonus, and commissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Sales experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives Sales: Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and provide a favorable customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including needs discovery, objections handling, and closing.
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
• Maintain knowledge of features and benefits of products and services.
