Job summary

Cengage Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the sales process with content mapping, order processing, billing reviews, and contract alignment.

You'll update Salesforce, run reports, and coordinate with Sales Management and account directors to drive open-territory coverage and customer success. You will engage with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data, timely follow-through, and consistent messaging across marketing and sales efforts.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.
• Experience with digital sales products and CRM systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support selling strategies with sales leadership and team.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support enabling customer engagement.
• Update Salesforce and CRM data including accounts and opportunities.
