Onix Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team. You will greet guests, manage registrations, assign rooms, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a smooth stay for all guests.

The role requires a friendly, sales-minded professional with strong communication skills and experience using hotel reservation systems. A high school diploma is required, with at least one year of front desk experience in a high-volume property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of front desk experience in a large-volume property.
• Experience with hotel computer systems and reservations.
• Able to type 30-35 WPM; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sales-minded and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel to guests at all stages of their stay.
• Process registrations and assign rooms; accommodate special requests.
• Verify payment method and follow credit-check procedures.
• Maintain room status with housekeeping and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Post charges to guest accounts and ensure proper cash handling.
• Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping for check-outs and arrivals.
• Uphold safety procedures and assist with lobby and breakfast areas as needed.
