Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Sales Manager for the Road US division in Midland/ODessa, TX. The role drives growth by acquiring new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and managing relationships with SMEs through consultative selling and service delivery.

You will collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support to tailor transportation and logistics solutions, onboard new clients, and create long-term value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales, business development, or related experience preferred.
• Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth.
• Experience in KPI-driven, goal-oriented environments.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management.
• Transportation and logistics industry experience preferred.
• Domestic freight brokerage or related transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within SMEs and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry engagement, and relationship-building activities.
• Reactivate inactive or dormant customer accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and revenue.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of SMEs to support revenue growth and customer retention.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities.
• Convert qualified opportunities into active revenue-generating accounts.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing and prospective accounts.
• Meet or exceed assigned revenue, customer acquisition, and business growth objectives.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to support relationship development and long‑term account growth.
• Support customer retention by strengthening partnerships and increasing service utilization.
