Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in South San Francisco is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Road division to drive profitable growth by acquiring new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and expanding partnerships in the small- to mid-sized segment.

You will collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support to tailor transportation and logistics solutions, manage the full sales cycle, and ensure onboarding and long-term value for customers.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in sales, business development, or related roles.
• Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
• Familiarity with KPI-driven environments and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SMB segment and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Reactivate inactive accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and revenue.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of SMB accounts to support revenue growth and long-term value.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support to develop solutions.
• Prepare and present customer proposals, service recommendations, and sales presentations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing customer relationships to promote repeat business.
