Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Salt Lake City is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Road US division. You will drive profitable growth by acquiring new customers, reactivating dormant accounts, and developing relationships within SMB segments, promoting road transport, freight brokerage, and logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–3 years of sales, business development, or related experience preferred.
• Experience building customer relationships and supporting revenue growth.
• Experience in KPI-driven, goal-oriented, or customer-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the SMB segment and assigned territories.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
• Reactivate inactive or dormant accounts and develop strategies to increase engagement and revenue.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of SMB accounts to support revenue growth and long-term objectives.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities; convert qualified opportunities into revenue-generating accounts.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Operations, and Sales Support to develop transportation and logistics solutions.
• Support onboarding and implementation to promote positive customer experience and repeat business.
