Job summary

Michaels Stores in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, guiding front-end and service operations while upholding brand standards and operational expectations.

You will coach team members on Customer Experience and ART of Selling, drive KPIs, manage MOD coverage, and ensure efficient POS, BOPIS, and omni-channel service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure legal compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Manage in-store programs and events (Balloons, birthday parties, etc.).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive sales and operations in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experiences.
• Oversee BOPIS and Same Day Delivery for omni-channel service.
• Support Custom Framing operations with consultations and coordination.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection to reduce shrink and ensure safety.
