Job summary

SCI in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Counselors, drive location sales quotas, and ensure compliance with policies. You will train staff, manage aftercare, and participate in community outreach to grow market share.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales management experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems. A state insurance license is preferred. This is an on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales management experience required.
• Experience supervising Sales Counselors and training sales staff is a plus.
• Strong presentation, coaching and motivation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Insurance license as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed location sales quotas.
• Ensure Sales Counselors follow training manuals and company policies.
• Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to meet customer needs.
• Manage Sales Counselors as primary reference for aftercare, prospecting, and sales process.
• Develop marketing programs tailored to community demographics and geography.
• Review pre-need and at-need contracts for compliance.
• Approve discounts and prepare financial compliance reports.
• Maintain marketing materials, training manuals, and sales spaces.
