Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking an experienced Learning and Development professional to design and develop employee learning programs aligned with organizational goals and training needs.

The role involves conducting assessments, identifying development opportunities, and recommending new training methods to improve performance and skills across leadership, business, and professional areas.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in sales learning delivery and meeting facilitation, using classroom, virtual, eLearning and ADDIE.
• 2+ years of selling experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops learning programs.
• Tracks employee performance and measures training outcomes.
• Conducts needs analyses and translates business requirements into defined training needs.
• Determines the scope, audience, timing, delivery method, and resource requirements for trainings.
• Partners with leadership to identify process trends that support associates and drive organizational consistency.
• Works with associates and managers to ensure that learned knowledge and skills are transferred to the job.
• Reviews, edits, and maintains trainings, standard operating procedures, job aids, and other strategic tools and resources.
• Delivers learning communications, including monthly newsletters, process updates, and technology announcements.
• Creates development standards, processes, and templates to produce consistent and quality instructional materials.
• Participates in associate trainings as needed.
