Job summary

Park Lawn Corporation in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a results-oriented Sales Leader to drive strategies and performance for the location. You will lead the sales team, recruit and train staff, and work to exceed local sales targets while building relationships in the community.

The role requires a four-year degree (or equivalent), 2+ years of management experience in funeral/home services, and at least 3 years in sales. Strong communication and integrity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience; Funeral Home or Combo desired.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
• Proven track record of success in inside sales production.
• Demonstrated ability to train and energize a sales team.
• Ability to read and interpret company policies, contracts and pricing.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the sales team’s performance through coaching and discipline as needed.
• Recruits and trains an effective sales staff.
• Leads team by example in sales activity and volume.
• Meets or exceeds the sales targets for the location.
• Develops and implements sales initiatives to motivate the team.
• Generates leads through community involvement and referrals.
• Monitors sales results and adjusts plans based on data.
• Communicates results to management on a regular basis.
• Oversees accounts receivable and ensures timely collections.
• Represents the company at client meetings and services to foster referrals.
• Ensures compliance with company procedures and confidentiality.
