Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to lead by example, oversee location sales and service, and coach a team of Sales Counselors to meet quotas while delivering compassionate, customer-focused support for grieving families.

You will schedule staff, coordinate client meetings, and ensure options and services are presented clearly, including tours of the site and available plots, while driving revenue in a respectful, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Empathize with grieving families during highly emotional times.
• 1-2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in cemetery industry, or 2-3 years outside the industry.
• At least one year of supervisory or management experience, preferably within a sales capacity.
• Ability to implement new and effective methods to increase sales in a competitive environment.
• Influence and collaboration with people at all levels in a team atmosphere.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and availability for holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and service at a location to maximize sales and attain quotas.
• Coach and counsel all assigned Sales Staff to ensure high-quality servicing of customers.
• Train staff on presentations to current and potential customers.
• Review prior days results and appointments to provide actionable recommendations.
• Meet with clients on- and off-site to develop Family History Folder and related details.
• Schedule all Family Service employees to ensure coverage at all times.
• Ensure staff presents all options and services, including tours of the site and plots.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues impacting the site.
