Job summary

Everstory Partners in Philadelphia seeks an Assistant Sales Manager to lead by example, deliver the highest level of customer care, and drive sales with a quarterly incentive plan that can reach 100% of base pay.

You will coach and train Sales Staff, schedule Family Service employees, present options to families, meet sales quotas, and coordinate with other departments to provide compassionate end-of-life options.

Qualifications

• Empathy for grieving families is essential.
• 1–2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the Cemetery industry, or 2–3 years outside the industry; supervisory experience.
• Ability to implement new methods to increase sales in a competitive environment.
• Influence and collaboration with people at all levels in a team atmosphere.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to complete tasks quickly and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and service at a location to achieve assigned quotas.
• Coach and counsel all Sales Staff for high-quality service to customers.
• Train staff on presentations to current and potential customers.
• Review daily results and provide recommendations on issues.
• Meet with clients on- and off-site to develop Family History Folder and related details.
• Schedule Family Service staff to ensure coverage at all times.
• Ensure staff offer all options and site tours to at-need clients.
• Respond to routine and non-routine problems involving coordination with other departments.
