Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and support the Store Manager.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you lead the team and ensure store profitability and safety. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, stocking displays, cleaning, and executing planograms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior retail or supervisory exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, accept payments, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays per planograms.
• Clean store, take out trash, mop floors, and stock restrooms.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager in their absence.
