Job summary

J.Jill Leawood is looking for a passionate Sales Lead to support store leadership, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for every guest. You will coach teammates, mentor new associates, and ensure outstanding customer service across all interactions.

As a brand ambassador, you will maintain deep product knowledge, execute visual standards, and foster community engagement while meeting or exceeding store goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience in women’s specialty or sales-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through genuine interactions. Support community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
• Assist in training and developing team members, leading by example, and providing coaching and support to ensure team success.
• Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs, providing personalized styling recommendations, and contributing to achieving sales targets.
• Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill’s products to support customers in making confident purchasing decisions.
• Assist with store operations, including opening and closing store, manager on duty, visual merchandising, floor sets, inventory management, and adherence to company policies.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, proactively address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and support leadership in maintaining a meaningful customer experience.
• Navigate various communication settings across different levels of the organization, adjusting messaging to fit diverse audiences.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help your store be successful.
